libgf2x1 software package provides Routines for fast arithmetic in GF(2)[x], you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libgf2x1
libgf2x1 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libgf2x1 package were installed using the commands given below,
